Did you catch the `97 Primus 1000 on October 19th. It was another GREAT race from start to finish. Unlike the other race (under 19`s) 2 weeks earlier the crowd was an all time record as opposed to the all time low of the 5th. It would be fair to say that the smaller class is not something the Aussie Motor Racing punters fully embrace. V8`s for ever!!! The boys at HSV didn`t have the best of years with the Young Lions going out on the practice lap. This was such a pitty as Jason Bargwanna was the un-official pole sitter before the top ten run off on Saturday 18th with a record 2:10.9216
